How To Use Images From Links In Your Social Media Posts
If your post includes a link, you can easily choose images from that link to add to your post.
Especially useful when sharing links on Instagram, this feature lets you select images directly from the website without the need to download them to your computer! 💪
To achieve this, follow these quick and easy steps:
1. Open the Post Editor to create a new post or edit an existing one.
2. Make sure you've added a link to your post:
3. Click on "Media", then "Choose Image From Link":
4. We'll scrape the contents of the page and open a pop-up with all the images we detected, available for you to choose and add to the post:
Note: When scraping the page, we look for valid JPG/PNG images, bigger than 64px wide or 64px tall. If no images are show here, it could be that we failed to scrape the link correctly, or that we didn't find any valid images.
Note: We can only retrieve images that load on the initial page view. If a webpage uses "lazy loading" and delays loading images until you scroll, we may not be able to capture (all) images.
5. Choose the image you'd like to use and click on "Add To Post":
6. The image will be added to the post.
Repeat the steps to choose multiple images from the link and create media variations, or a multi-image post.
