Changes to Facebook Groups Publishing
Facebook unexpectedly decided to remove Groups API access, preventing any third-party tools, including SmarterQueue, from interacting with your Facebook Groups. After April 22nd, 2024, SmarterQueue will no longer be able to publish directly to groups you manage. You can still schedule posts for these groups, but will receive email notifications for easy manual posting instead. You may also wish to consider transitioning to a Facebook Page for better engagement.
When adding content you can set a post to publish one time, schedule it for multiple dates and times or even set it as recurring.
How To Publish A Post Once
- Navigate to the Post Editor via 'Create a Post'.
- Select a Category and the Social Profile(s) you're posting to.
- Create your post in the Post Editor by first adding text.
- Add any media you want to send out with your post.
- Under 'Post Timing', select the 'Post Now' option.
- Under 'Evergreen Post Recycling', click 'Don't Recycle', then click the blue 'Post Now' button.
Note: If the post you've created doesn't meet the conditions for the Social Profiles you are sending to, like adding a picture for an Instagram post or selecting a board for a Pinterest post, the Post Editor will let you know, so that you can make the necessary adjustments đĒ
