Why Should I Categorise My Posts?
When you create and manage your SmarterQueue Categories, your social content is neatly organised and easy to balance.
An example of why you should Categorise your posts is if you have ever stopped following someone because it felt like they were always 'selling' to you? Annoying isn't it!
With Categories, you can easily increase your growth and keep your audience on their toes with a variety of content!
To avoid the pitfalls of overloading on sales content/too much self promotion, create 'sales' Categories to ensure you never fatigue your audience. By categorising sales content, you ensure you don't ever breach our recommended 20% sales promotion/80% value shared.
Check out this Content Ratio:
In the example above, the Category (content type) balance of Seasonal Category; '50% Summer Promotion' is only 6% of the total content on Pinterest. Whereas 18% of the content spread on Pinterest is being taken up by 'Engaging Questions'.
Here we could ask, is this the most effective use of content across our social media profiles? Could we be increasing promotional content, and potentially post 'Saturday Morning: Weekend Tips', which we do not yet have on Pinterest- maybe with a visual guide to drive our social media growth on this platform?
By monitoring your Content Ratio you can be certain your followers (or potential customers) know exactly who you are and what you offer😉
Simply add a Timeslot for each Category and have ultimate control over your content!
