How To Find The Visual Instagram Planner

1. Navigate to the Queue inside your SmarterQueue dashboard

In the top-right of your Queue, you will see options to view by Instagram Grid, List, Week, and Month.

2. Select 'Instagram Grid' to automatically open the Visual Instagram Planner for the first Instagram Profile in your Social Profile list πŸ‘€

All your scheduled and published posts will be displayed in the grid, while your scheduled Stories will be shown on the top of the screen.

Note: Instagram's API does not keep track of IGTV or Reel previews that are added to your feed when returning information about a user's media. Due to this, these previews will not be visible in the Visual Instagram Planner, even if they are present in your feed.
This is a limitation of Instagram's API that affects how the Visual Instagram Planner displays the content of your feed.

3. If you'd like to switch to a different Instagram Profile within the Visual Instagram Planner, simply select it from the 'Filter By Profile" area on the left-hand side.

How To View More Posts

If you want to see how your feed will look after just your next Queued Post, or after all the Posts you have Queued, you are able to do so πŸŽ‰

Inside the Visual Instagram Planner, you'll see all your  most recent live posts on Instagram. These are indicated by the Instagram icon in the bottom left of the photo.

Note: If you have included any previews of your IGTV posts to your Instagram Feed, they will not show inside of the SmarterQueue Visual Instagram Planner. This is a known limitation of the Facebook API.

Your scheduled posts will be indicated by an 'eye icon' in the top left corner. Video posts will show a play icon, while carousel posts will show multiple squares:

Use the slider at the top of the planner to show more queued posts, or type a number manually in the box πŸ’ͺ

How To Re-Order Posts

Re-ordering posts in your Queue has never been more fun!

Simply drag and drop posts within the  same Category to build the best feed...

πŸ’‘This will also re-order your posts automatically in List View!

Keep in mind that you won't be able to re-order posts that are in different Categories, as your Timeslots in your Posting Plan will be scheduled for different times.

You also cannot move scheduled posts, only Queued posts with a Timeslot. ✨

Note: If you'd like more control over re-ordering your posts, create a Category specifically for 'Instagram Posts' and add all of your Instagram content only ever to that Category. In this way, you'll be able to drag and drop your posts to any order you like, without other Categories restricting the order. πŸ’ͺ

How To Switch Back To List View

When you have finished with Visual Instagram Planner, you can switch back to List View by going to the top-right and selecting List πŸ’₯
