What Is The File Size Limit For Videos Uploaded To SmarterQueue?

SmarterQueue has a video upload limit of 512MB (536 million bytes), to align with the limit imposed by Twitter and ensure you can upload videos that can be posted on multiple Social Profiles at once, without issue. Please don't upload any video which exceeds this limit, as it would be rejected.

Videos are also subject to durations limits (ex: Twitter videos are limited to 140 seconds, while Facebook videos are limited to 40 minutes)

If you upload a video that is over the duration limit for the Social Profile you're trying to send to, SmarterQueue will post a link to the video, which should still play inline on the Social Profile.

We do transcode (re-compress/resize) all videos that are uploaded so that they're in a format that is accepted by platforms you're posting to.

Using SmarterQueue you can upload videos with a maximum frame rate of 60fps.

How Does SmarterQueue Handle My Video Once Uploaded?

SmarterQueue converts videos into the correct streaming format for social sharing, so you don’t have to worry about your social network’s technical requirements.

Videos are converted to streaming MP4 format encoded with H264, up to 1920x1920 pixels resolution, as follows:

  • 16:9 wide videos up to 1920x1080;
  • 9:16 tall videos up to 1080x1920.

This ensures that the videos will work on every social network and will be formatted for the best possible quality, no matter if you're publishing a wide video to your Facebook Page, or a tall video to your Instagram Reels.

What Video Requirements Does TikTok Have?

When scheduling video to TikTok there are a couple of requirements that needs to be met to ensure the post is published successfully:

  • length: this will depend on the limit set by TikTok on your profile natively - all TikTok creators can post 3-minute videos, while some have access to post 5-minute or even 10-minute videos.
  • framerate: videos need to be filmed/edited between 23-60fps (anything less will fail);
  • resolution: for the best results use videos of 1:1.95 aspect ratio, though all videos of 360px to 4096px dimensions on either side (width or height) will be allowed.
