How To Create Your Carousel Post In SmarterQueue
PLEASE NOTE: Before you get started creating carousel posts, you'll first need to either enable Direct Publishing or download the latest version of the SmarterQueue Mobile App, for your iOS or your Android device.
1. Click 'Create a Post' to open the Post Editor
2. Next, choose a Category
Note: Be sure to select a Category you've enabled for your Instagram Profile!
3. Then select the Instagram Profile you'd like to create a post for
4. Write your caption in the text box
5. Then add your images! You can add up to 10 images, either by selecting the camera icon under 'Media' and choosing the images from the computer or by dragging and dropping in the Post Editor area. You'll be able to select multiple images at once.
Note: If any of the images you add are too wide or too tall for direct publishing, we will add padding to them to ensure you meet Instagram's guidelines. Find out what size images you should use.
Note: We recommend that all images included in your carousel post have the same size ratio. If you mix & match images with different sizes in your carousel post, then all of your images will be cropped to the size of your first photo.
Note: You can schedule several different types of posts to Instagram including single-image posts, multi-image carousel posts, and videos! Check out this article for more information on scheduling video posts!
6. Preview your carousel post in the right-hand pane. You can use the arrows to tab through and view each photo you've added to your post
7. Then save your Post to your Queue - it will auto-schedule for you based on the Posting Plan 💪
8. If you have an Instagram business profile, and enabled Direct Publishing, your Carousel Post will be published automatically! Otherwise, you will need to finish the post using our mobile app, following the instructions below.
How To Auto-Publish Your Carousel Post
For your Carousel Posts, auto-publishing only works with Instagram Business Profiles that are connected to a Facebook Page.
Make sure to quickly and easily enable direct publishing for your Instagram Business Profile from the Profiles section in your SmarterQueue account 💪
If your profile is a Personal or Media Creator one, we recommend that you switch to a Business Profile.
This will not only allow you to publish single-image, image carousel (up to 10 images), reels, or video posts to the feed (up to 60 seconds) directly to Instagram but will also give you access to in-depth Analytics, and advanced content curation options, and will display your profile picture within SmarterQueue.
