How To Add Multiple Instagram Profiles

Connecting your Instagram Profiles to SmarterQueue depends on their type.

Adding Business or Creator Profiles

Instagram Business and Creator Profiles can be directly connected to SmarterQueue, allowing for direct publishing. Here's how to add them:

1. Navigate to Instagram in your web browser and log into the Business or Creator account you wish to connect.

2. Open SmarterQueue in another tab and follow the steps here to add your Instagram Profile.

3. Next, log out of the Instagram Profile you just connected:

4. Then log into your secondary account by entering your credentials:

5. Repeat the connection process from step 2.

You can repeat these steps to connect all your Business or Creator Profiles.

Adding Personal Profiles

Instagram Personal Profiles, can only be added as Universal Profiles, enabling all post types to be published via the notification workflow (🔔) through the SmarterQueue Mobile App.

Follow the steps here to add one or more Universal Profiles.

How To Create And Publish Content For Multiple Instagram Profiles

All types of Instagram posts can be created and scheduled from the Post Editor. You can create posts for one or multiple Instagram Profiles at the same time.

Publishing on Instagram with SmarterQueue depends on both the type of content and the type of Instagram Profile you’re using.

For Instagram Business and Creator Profiles we can directly publish content. Creator Profiles support single-image posts, carousel posts, and videos/Reels, while Business Profiles also include direct publishing for Story posts.

For Instagram Personal Profiles, however, all post types will be published via the notification workflow (🔔) through the SmarterQueue Mobile App.

How To Switch Between Instagram Profiles In The SmarterQueue Mobile App

If you're publishing to multiple Instagram Profiles via the notification workflow (🔔), you'll need to make sure you switch to the correct profile in the SmarterQueue Mobile App each time you post.

Whether you're using an iOS or an Android device, simply open the SmarterQueue Mobile App and tap your Instagram handle at the top of your screen to view all other available Instagram accounts.

Tap on the name of the Profile you want to switch to, and you’ll see the posts in that Queue

Keep in mind that when a post notification is delivered, the SmarterQueue Mobile App does not automatically connect to the correct Instagram profile - this is why you need to switch.

You also need to switch profiles on the Instagram app. To do this, open the Instagram app and go to your profile. Tap your username at the top of the screen, then tap the profile you’d like to switch to.
